The image is a black and white illustration showing the upper bodies of two men engaged in conversation. The man on the left is seen in profile, resting his chin on his hand with his elbow supported by his other arm. He has an elongated nose and a furrowed brow. His hair is partially visible beneath a large, round hat with a flat crown. He wears a loose-sleeved shirt. The man on the right faces the viewer more directly and has a pointed beard and bushy eyebrows, with a turban adorned with a plume on his head. He points toward himself with his right hand. His clothing is characterized by a flowing robe or shirt with long sleeves and a visible lower neckline. The background is minimal, consisting of some shaded areas to suggest dimension, and features handwritten text above and below the figures.
