Artist, French, 1864 - 1901

This print is a poster featuring a woman in a dynamic pose. The woman's body is curved, her hips facing the right, her torso turned towards us, and her head looking to the left, tilted slightly backward. Her arms are bent and raised on either side of her head. She has off-white skin, bright red lips, a small nose, and yellow hair. She is wearing a long black dress with a red band at the hem. A blue and yellow snake appears to be wrapping around her body, its head on her chest. She wears a large red headdress that appears to have large feathers coming off of it. The background of the print is beige, and text on it reads "JANE Avril" on the left, with "H. Stern, Paris" and "1899" on the right.
