The etching shows a landscape with a winding path slightly off-center. The horizon is in the upper part of the image, dominated by dense clusters of trees of varying heights. The etching displays detailed cross-hatching for texture and depth. The image is monochromatic with shades of black and grey on a beige background. There is a path with leaning fence posts leading towards the trees and into the distance.
