The image shows a landscape with a village or church in the distance. The horizon line is positioned at the lower third of the image. In the foreground, there is a figure sitting on a grassy mound. The drawing uses fine linework with cross-hatching to create texture, particularly in the sky. The color palette is monochromatic, resembling traditional etchings and pencil drawings. Vegetation frames the scene on both sides against the sky.
