The image depicts a pastoral scene viewed from a slightly elevated angle. Tall trees frame the view on either side. Two figures are seen in the foreground, one bending forward and the other sitting to the right. The background shows rolling hills, open fields, and expressive cloud formations in the sky. The color palette is monochromatic, using shades of black and sepia.
