The image is a portrait sketch of a male figure. The man faces forward with his head slightly turned to the side. His facial features include deep-set eyes, a prominent nose, and a full beard with mustache. He wears a broad-brimmed hat and a dark cape or coat with a high collar. The background is plain, and in the bottom right corner, the name "A. Legros" is signed.
