Number 12 crudely scratched on upper left corner of obverse. Reverse formerly bore previous catalogue number 237 in faint white paint (Molinier 1886), canceled with line of red paint, as well as former inventory numbers 189 in red paint (Dreyfus) and 214 in yellow paint (Ricci 1931); numerals removed in 1982 cleaning.
