The image shows a sailing ship in a rough sea, viewed from a slightly elevated angle. The horizon is obscured by waves and a turbulent sky. The ship is angled sharply to the right, conveying its struggle. The brushstrokes are expressive, depicting the motion of the sea and storm clouds. The color palette is monochromatic, using sepia shades for intensity. Waves close to us are detailed, and the sky appears stormy with energetic line work.
