The image is a landscape scene viewed from a low vantage point. The horizon is situated fairly low, giving ample space to the open sky above. On the horizon, there's a faint outline of vegetation and sails from distant boats. Closest to us, several small boats are clustered together with figures and objects. The drawing style features delicate, controlled brushstrokes, conveying texture and movement, especially in the water and boat details. The color palette is monochromatic, consisting of various sepia tones.
