The image features a man seen in a three-quarter view from the waist up. He faces slightly left with his gaze directed upwards and away from the viewer. He has distinct facial features including a pronounced nose, full beard and mustache, and wavy shoulder-length hair. The man wears a cap with a rope-like detail, along with a patterned quilted garment with a decorative collar. He holds a wooden rod or staff in his right hand. The background is plain with some shading, and there is text in the upper left corner of the image.
