This is a drawing of a group of children at the seaside preparing for a clambake. The scene is set on a rocky beach where several young boys are depicted engaged in various activities. Two boys in the foreground are carrying a large pail together. In the center, another boy is resting against a large rock. A group of boys is gathered behind the rock, appearing to be stoking a fire, as smoke rises into the sky. In the background, there is a calm sea with sailboats on the horizon beneath a partly cloudy sky. The drawing captures a moment at the shoreline emphasizing teamwork and camaraderie among the children.
