This is a black-and-white illustration featuring soldiers in various scenes associated with war. Musical notations and collections of lyrics such as "The bold soldier boy," "The girl I left behind me," and "Dixie" are depicted alongside the scenes. The soldiers are shown marching, a mounted officer is on horseback, and others are seen in camp. At the bottom, a group of soldiers marches with large lettering that reads "Glory Hallelujah." The composition includes bugles, flags, and musical staffs.
