The image shows two women intimately interacting in a close embrace. The woman on the left appears older, with a shawl or veil covering her head. The younger woman on the right has her hair tied back and is leaning towards the older woman, with her head resting on the elder's shoulder or chest area. Both women are dressed in long, flowing gowns with striped or textured patterns. The setting appears to be indoors, as indicated by a curtain on the right side of the image and a wall with an indistinct, possibly floral pattern in the background.
