The image shows two individuals partially inside large wooden barrels, only their upper bodies are visible. The person in the foreground is seated within the barrel, with their body turned to the side and knees drawn up, holding onto a cloth. This person has distinct facial features with exaggerated proportions, and short, neatly combed hair. They are dressed in a simple, dark outfit. The second individual in the background is crawling out of another barrel, wearing a conical hat and displaying an elongated nose. The barrels are placed on a barren, flat landscape with sparse vegetation visible in the background, beneath a light, indistinct sky.
