The image shows two full-length figures standing side by side. The person on the left is bent forward at the waist with legs apart, reaching out with both hands toward the other figure. This person has a beard, a broad nose, and disheveled hair. They are wearing a loose garment that appears tattered and bare feet. The person on the right stands upright, with one hand resting on their hip under their cloak, the other hand extended to the first figure. This person wears a hat and a cloak that conceals most of their body, with only the lower legs and feet visible. The scene is sketched in a simple setting with no decorative elements in the background except for a plain ground line.
