The image shows an etching with a countryside scene. The sky occupies the upper half of the composition, with the horizon high in the frame. In the distance, a structure is partially hidden by trees. The etched lines provide detailed textures to the foliage and terrain. The color palette is monochromatic in shades of sepia and brown. A figure is bending towards the ground in the foreground.
