This artwork depicts three individuals within an interior setting. The person in the bottom left corner is seated, facing the right, with their arm propped against the small round table next to them and their fingers resting on their cheek. They wear a dark hat with a thin veil covering their pale face, and a dark long-sleeved dress. To the right of the round table, a young woman stands facing the seated figure, wearing a short-sleeved red dress with a white collar and reflective buttons. She has light skin and short, brown hair that frames her face. The third person, seated to the far right, appears to be another woman with gray hair and her hand raised to her mouth. This woman is dressed in a dark outfit with a light ruffled collar. At the center of the image is the round wooden table, which features a large, dark vase lamp with a pleated shade, a silver tray with a kettle and mug, and a small painting and statue. On the wall behind the group are several paintings in different sizes, as well as what looks like a mirror over a carved mantle on the left. The lamp on the table casts yellow light on the scene, and the wall appears light yellow with streaks of light green and peach.
