The etching depicts a detailed landscape with an elevated viewpoint. The horizon, hills, sky with swirling clouds, water inlets, boats, fortified town, woodlands, rocky outcrops, pathways, tree, and figure engaging in logging activity are all visible. The scene is created using finely hatched lines with varying density for depth and texture. The color palette is monochromatic in shades of sepia.
