The image is a black-and-white etching showing two people and a goat. The male figure on the left holds an implement, possibly a spade, with his right hand. He is clothed in a tattered garment and rustic footwear. The female figure on the right has her head turned towards the man. She is wearing a long dress or robe with bell sleeves. Beside them is a basket filled with fruit, near a goat that is eating from it. The background features heavy foliage with dense trees and branches.
