This drawing shows a serene waterscape. The horizon line is central, with trees and buildings in the distance beyond the body of water, including what looks like a factory with a tall chimney. Several boats are on the water, including rowboats and sailboats. There is a small boat close to us on the right, near a line of trees on the water's edge. The water seems mostly clear with a few small ripples, and the sky above is similarly empty.
