The image shows a landscape with a wide expanse of terrain. In the upper third, there are buildings in the distance, possibly a small town or village. On the left side, a figure is walking along a dirt path. The middle of the image features open fields with delicate line work typical of etching. The color palette is monochromatic with sepia tones, giving the image an aged appearance. The sky is vast and empty with soft tonal gradations.
