This painting shows a street surrounded by tall buildings seen from above. At the bottom of the painting, two indistinct figures are walking along the light gray road. Behind them, the road disappears through a passageway or archway in a tall wall. The buildings on either side of the road are cream, with red roofs and gutters. They have several dark windows and doorways near the street. The sky above the buildings has soft white clouds against a pastel blue background.
