Artist, American, 1871 - 1951

The image shows an urban scene from a slightly elevated perspective. A tall, slender building is at the center, resembling the Flatiron shape. Other buildings and structures are visible in the distance, along with water towers. The sketch features rough pencil strokes with vertical and diagonal orientations. The color palette is monochromatic, using shades of charcoal gray on beige-tinted paper. Closest to the viewer, there is a rail or walkway structure with small figures and vehicles.
