This is a painting of two birds perched on a branch of a coniferous tree. The upper bird is rosy-colored with shades of red, while the lower bird is depicted in brown and white tones. They rest on a branch adorned with needle-like leaves and green cones characteristic of coniferous trees. The background is plain, accentuating the detail of the birds and the branch.
