Artist, Italian, probably 1535 - 1612

The image shows two figures. One figure is standing, while the other is kneeling. The standing person has one hand raised to chest level and the other hand slightly extended forward, facing the kneeling figure. They have delicate facial features, with closed eyes and curly hair adorned with a halo. They are dressed in flowing robes with a hood lying on their back. The kneeling figure is holding a lily with one hand and extending the other hand towards the standing person. They also have curly hair and a halo, with wings emerging from their back. They are dressed in a draped garment. A small cat is curled up on the floor beside them. In the background, there is a window showing a distant, large building with turrets and a landscape beyond, with heavy drapery partially framing the window above the figures.
