This is a painting of birds perched on a branch with a nest. It features two small birds with green and yellow plumage on a leafy branch with red and white flowers. In the nest, there are several young chicks with wide eyes and small beaks peeking out. The background is plain, emphasizing the details of the birds and foliage. The style is similar to John Gould's ornithological illustrations.
