The image is an engraving with a view from a slightly elevated angle, showing a grove or forest clearing. A large gnarled tree trunk with twisted branches dominates the composition. In the distance, there is a dense cluster of trees and lightly etched clouds. The horizon is not clearly defined due to intricate background foliage. The engraving style is intricate with fine lines, creating a textural quality. Varied shading and cross-hatching techniques add depth to the scene. The color palette is limited to shades of brown and beige. Among grasses and rocks, a small figure of a person is visible close to us.
