The image shows a wooded landscape with two figures walking along a path. The dense foliage of the trees dominates the central and right-hand side of the scene, partially obscuring the elevated horizon in the middle of the frame. The etching technique is evident in the linear brushstrokes creating texture in the trees, ground, and figures. Fine details are contrasted with minimal clouds in the sky, adding depth. The color palette is monochromatic, primarily brown and beige. Rock formations are visible in the distance on the left side of the image, with branches framing the top left corner.
