This is a drawing of an interior scene with a two-level narrative. The upper portion shows a group of figures on a balcony under a wooden ceiling, illuminated by a sun-like light. Some figures are seated while others stand, with dynamic clothing suggesting movement.

In the lower part, there is a room with a table, two figures, an open book, and other objects. One figure leads another by the hand. An architectural feature, possibly an altar, and a classical statue are also present. The scene is detailed with cross-hatching and line work, creating depth and texture without showing any conjecture.
