This is a drawing of several figures standing along a fence with a view beyond. The figures are depicted with loose, expressive lines, and are seen from behind or at slight angles, facing what appears to be an open space or possibly an arena. The individuals hold or place their arms gently on the fence and one appears to be pointing or gesturing. The trees' canopy with minimal leaves extends over them in the upper left section of the drawing. The texture and shading techniques give the drawing a sketch-like quality, capturing a moment of observation or anticipation.
