The image shows a view from an elevated vantage point overlooking a pastoral landscape. Rolling hills and scattered trees fill the horizon, diminishing in size towards the distance. A crescent moon is visible in the upper left, set against a sky with swirling clouds. The brushstrokes are loose and dynamic, especially in the depiction of the clouds. The color palette consists of muted tones of black, gray, and hints of white. In the foreground, there are grazing cows and a grouping of detailed trees on the right.
