The image depicts two oval portraits side by side, showing only the upper body of two individuals. On the left, the person is in profile facing to the right. They have a prominent hooked nose and wear a head covering that drapes over and conceals their hair. On the right, the person faces forward. They have a round face and are wearing a flat, rounded cap that covers their hair, with some curls visible at the sides near the ears. Both individuals are clad in dark clothing. The background features a detailed line pattern within each oval, set against a plain surrounding area. Each portrait is enclosed in its own oval frame with minimal embellishment.
