The image shows a drawing of a man from the chest up, positioned in profile, facing to the right. He has distinctive facial features with a prominent mustache and focused eyes. His hair is mid-length and falls neatly across his forehead and sides. He is dressed in a coat with a wide collar and underneath wears a striped scarf or cravat around his neck. No jewelry or objects are visible in the drawing. The background is plain and unadorned, with no distinct features apart from the texture of the paper on which the drawing is made.
