Two men are depicted waist up, facing right. The man on the left has curly balding hair, a prominent nose, and wears a dark coat. His hands are behind his back, holding a limp cloth. The man on the right wears small round glasses, with neatly combed-back hair. He has a stern or pensive expression and wears a dark jacket with large lapels. The background is shaded with cross-hatched patterns, and there is French text related to fashion at the bottom.
