In the image, two men are depicted facing each other in profile. The man on the left is leaning slightly forward, with one hand on his hip and the other partially visible. He has a thin face with prominent cheekbones, a sharp chin, and is smoking a cigarette. He wears a top hat, a suit, and a bowtie. The man on the right has a round face, is also smoking a cigarette, and is holding a walking stick. He wears a coat with visible buttons. The background is plain with sketching marks, and there is text above the scene stating "Les Beaux Jours de la Vie."
