Three men are pictured from the waist up in a triangular arrangement. The man at the center faces forward and holds a top hat, while the other two face him from the sides, each wearing a top hat. The man in the center has a long nose and a serious expression, with slicked-back hair visible under his hat. The man on the left has a receding hairline and short hair, wearing a patterned jacket with arms extended. The man on the right also has a pronounced nose and sideburns, matching the Victorian style, under his top hat. All are dressed in typical 19th-century fashion with high collars. The background is simple, shaded, emphasizing the figures. Text in the foreground reads "UN CHAPEAU NEUF" with additional text below.
