The image shows three figures from about the waist up. The central figure is a person gripping the ear of a younger person to their right. The central person has a lean face with sharp features and is wearing a dark cap and coat. To their left is another adult figure, bent slightly forward with their head angled down, wearing a long coat and a brimmed hat that covers their eyes. The young individual being held has messy, curly hair and an exaggerated expression. They are dressed in a loose-fit garment, and their facial features show wide eyes and an open mouth. In the background, the scene is set outdoors with hints of buildings in sketchy outlines, a tree with foliage on one side, and a group of children or figures on the far right, partially obscured and standing in a circle. The overall setting suggests an urban or suburban environment.
