Three men in the foreground are depicted. The two men on the sides are supporting a large coat draped over what seems to be a mannequin or a limp figure. The full bodies of the three figures are visible. The man on the left is wearing a bowler hat and a plaid scarf, looking backward with his hand gesturing. The man on the right is wearing a beret-style cap, looking forward with a focused expression. Both men are dressed in dark coats and trousers. The mannequin in the middle is adorned with an overcoat, a checked shirt, and a flat cap. In the background, an elderly-looking individual with spectacles is observing the scene from inside a lit room. The setting indicates an indoor corridor or entrance hall, mostly in shadow with light coming from the room where the observer stands.
