This is a drawing of a woman in a classical gown and crown holding a measuring stick. In front of her is a line of people with elongated heads just hovering over the measuring line. The people are drawn in a caricatured style, with expressions of nervousness or eagerness. The drawing uses strong lines and shading to create a satirical tone, contrasting the composed classical figure with the distorted figures in line.
