This is an illustration showing a character with a long beard and sword, standing in a hall in front of an audience. The character has flowing hair and cloak. The audience is seated in rows in an arena or theater, seen through an arched doorway. The drawing has detailed linework, and the overall tone is both humorous and slightly sinister. There are inscriptions on the walls marking different chambers with dates.
