This is a drawing of a soldier standing among historical artifacts. The soldier holds a flag and stands in front of several sacks labeled with different years, including "1870", "1848", "1830", and "1815". The background wall is inscribed with "MUSEE DES SOUVERAINS". The soldier appears confident and the style is reminiscent of 19th-century political satire.
