The image shows a landscape with a log cabin on stilts on the left side. Near the cabin, there is a river with two figures next to a boat. Trees with dense foliage are spread across the scene, and in the distance, a church spire rises from a village. The horizon is low, with the sky occupying most of the top part of the image. The brushstrokes are detailed and fine, with cross-hatching creating texture and shadow. The color palette is monochrome, mainly using sepia tones for depth and detail.
