This is a drawing of a genealogical diagram. The drawing depicts an intricate and elaborate heraldic genealogy chart named "The Union of the Roses of the Families of Lancaster and York." The central part features a large crown adorned with various coats of arms and family crests arranged in a spiral or tree-like pattern. In the middle of the spiral, there is an emblem displaying a coat of arms. The design includes symbols, text boxes describing relations and historical connections, framed by decorative borders and additional heraldic elements on the margin. The style is characterized by precisely detailed monochrome etching, typical of period genealogical records and illustrations.
