The image features a serene waterscape with a rowboat and two figures on the left side. A large, gnarled tree in the center of the composition is surrounded by foliage and trunks. The style is naturalistic with soft brushstrokes and fine details, using a monochrome palette of sepia and charcoal. Faint outlines of additional trees are visible in the background.
