Artist, German, 1472 - 1553

The image shows a woman standing, slightly turned to the right. Her head is tilted downwards, with her eyes gazing ahead. The woman has delicate facial features with high cheekbones, and her hair is styled elaborately, featuring long, curling strands cascading down from both sides of her face. She is dressed in ornately patterned attire, with a fitted bodice and a long, flowing skirt. On her upper sleeves are intricate designs, while the lower part of the garment is voluminous and gathered. The woman holds a chalice delicately with both hands. Surrounding her is a landscape with a rocky terrain, sparse vegetation, and a castle in the distance. The sky is filled with swirling clouds, within which are faces suggesting wind or celestial figures.
