The image depicts two individuals shown from the waist up. The person on the left is in profile, facing the older man on the right, who is facing forward with a slightly turned head. The younger individual has distinct facial features with a prominent nose and mouth, and long hair tucked under a hat adorned with a large feather. He wears a garment with a pronounced ruffled collar and a decorative chain. The older individual has a long, thick beard and hair, with deep set, expressive eyes and a furrowed brow. His clothing consists of a robe or cloak that covers his shoulders. There are no distinguishable jewelry pieces, but the younger person appears to be gesturing slightly with one hand. The background is shaded darkly behind the two figures.
