The image shows a group of eight people standing near a large window, with their full bodies visible. They are positioned with their backs to the viewer, all gazing out of the window. The individuals display a variety of facial profiles and some have visible facial features such as beards and strong noses, while their hair is hidden or obscured by hats and head coverings. The men are dressed in loose-fitting clothing, including shirts and pants, and some are wearing hats or caps. Outside the window, a hot air balloon can be seen floating in the sky, with numbers or text inscribed on it. The background shows a plain, bare wall inside what appears to be an interior space, centered around the window as the focal point of the composition.
