Artist, American, 1882 - 1925

The drawing shows a seated woman facing the left, angled slightly away from us. The woman is leaning back, seated on a bed-like surface, with her left arm bent to provide support. Her head is slightly bowed, and her gaze is directed downwards. She has pale skin and short hair styled away from her face. Her facial features are minimal, with a thick black line suggesting her eye. Her upper body is uncovered, with thin curving lines at her waist suggesting a thin skirt or covering. The background is shaded, the left side slightly darker than the right.
