This is a drawing of a snowy night scene outside the entrance of a theater. The central figure is an older individual in a long overcoat, stockings, and a top hat. They are hunched forward, holding papers, possibly a script. Snow is falling around them. To the left, a crowd of onlookers watches from behind a wooden railing. The entrance to the theater reads "ENTREE DES ACTEURS." The drawing is rendered in black and white with detailed line work and shading, reminiscent of Honoré Daumier's style.
