This is a painting of an interior scene with two men in conversation. One man is gesturing animatedly while the other listens attentively. In the background is a large cabinet filled with various objects, including a parrot, a taxidermied animal, books, and glass displays. Beside the men is a window with the word 'CAISSE' on it. This painting is done in the style of Honoré Daumier.
